IFIN-HH and ELI-NP, Romania's representatives in the Nuclear Physics European Collaboration Committee (NuPECC), hosted the 2024 NuPECC Town Meeting (https://indico.ph.tum.de/event/7593/), dedicated to presenting
the strategy for the European Nuclear Science Collaboration in the Long Range Plan (LRP), 15-17 April, Bucharest. The participants, more than 100 scientists in the field of nuclear physics, discussed the relevance of European research infrastructures, trends and perspectives, expected achievements and the impact of nuclear physics and its applications in society.
The outstanding importance of ELI-NP and IFIN-HH, infrastructures, scientific activities and their contribution to the main objectives of LRP 2024 were consistently highlighted.
